Angela "Angie" Harmon is an accomplished American actress and former model best known for starring in hit shows like Law & Order, Rizzoli & Isles, and Baywatch Nights. I‘ve been a huge fan of Angie since first seeing her on Baywatch in the 90s – she immediately stood out as someone special. Ever since, I‘ve loved watching her career blossom. I was ecstatic when I first heard Angie had been cast as Rizzoli, the tough-as-nails Boston detective. I just knew she would bring something special to the role – and I wasn‘t disappointed!

As Rizzoli, Angie got to showcase her incredible range. With the perfect blend of steeliness and sensitivity, she made Rizzoli come alive. Angie showed new depths as this complex, compelling character over the show‘s seven seasons. Her rapport with co-star Sasha Alexander was also always a joy to watch.

Without a doubt, Angie Harmon was born to play Jane Rizzoli. I️ couldn‘t imagine anyone else so perfectly embodying that perfect mix of swagger and soul. Rizzoli & Isles just wouldn‘t have been the same without Angie‘s pitch-perfect portrayal bringing the character vividly to life every week.

Rizzoli & Isles ended its successful run in 2016, but thankfully, Angie hasn‘t slowed down since. She has continued acting in recent years while balancing her role as the mother of three daughters.

Some notable projects I‘ve loved seeing Angie in over the past few years include guest appearances on shows like Horace and Pete and Fargo. She also returned to her TV movie roots with fun mysteries like Past Malice: An Emma Fielding Mystery.
